Buying a Home in Delaware

Home Buyer Services that I proudly provide

My main focus as a BUYER’S AGENT is to assist my clients in finding a home that best suits their needs and to utilize my strong negotiating skills to get them a home at the best possible value.  I also educate my buyers on the entire home buying process from start to finish, assist in making sure that they understand all documents that they will be signing, and answer all of their questions and/or concerns.

In the beginning stages, I familiarize everyone with the different financing options available, and connect them with a trusted and experienced loan officer to help them decide which mortgage program is best for them.  I also have trusted, reliable and professional inspectors, closing attorneys, and contractors that I can recommend as well.

Once a contract on a home is submitted and accepted, my team keeps in close touch with the lender on our buyer’s behalf.  In addition, we handle the scheduling of all inspections needed, as well as make arrangements for settlement with the closing attorney.  Unlike other real estate agents/teams out there, we do ALL of the work for our buyers and make sure that each transaction runs as smooth and stress-free as possible!!

We have a team of professionals, including full-time support staff, to ensure that we are never too busy to assist our clients and to make sure that all deadlines are met and all parties are well informed throughout the entire process, from start to finish.

If you are looking for a Full-Service, One-Stop-Shop Team who is available 7 days a week, look no further and call us today!

*We can customize a home search for you based on the criteria that you provide to us, and set you up to receive home listings that come directly to your email.

Things you should know

  1. Starting in August of 2024, the State of Delaware requires that Buyers sign a Buyer Agency Agreement if they choose to be represented by a Realtor in a transaction.  Please be sure you understand any agreements that you sign, before signing. We will always keep our buyers informed.

  2. When purchasing New Construction, it is always wise to have a Realtor represent you in the transaction. **Please be aware that most builders require that your Realtor accompany you on your first visit to their model home or sales site. The builder may tell you that a Realtor is not necessary, but it is always best to have an experienced professional on your side.

  3. All Realtors have access to all homes for sale through other agents and agencies. For example, I am with Compass however, I can show you and help you purchase a home that is listed through any other Real Estate Agency. All Realtors work together no matter what agency they are with.

  4. There are several different financing options available. It is always a good idea to talk with a loan officer before starting your home search to figure out what program best suits your needs.

  5. There are currently loans out there that require NO MONEY DOWN… ask me for more info!

  6. Do your research. A Seller does not have to notify you if a Sex Offender lives near their home. It is your responsibility as the buyer to research Sex Offender Info and any other information about a home. Check out our Buyer Resources Page for more info.
